Cowboy Experience in Chile – An Unforgettable Adventure

The Cowboy Experience in Chile is truly one of a kind and stands out as one of the best riding trips I’ve ever had – and I’ve been on nine so far!

This experience is perfect for anyone who craves adventure, is willing to forgo some comforts, and wants to authentically immerse themselves in the gaucho lifestyle.

From the very start, we were warmly welcomed by Danilo, Alejandra, and the entire team. Chilean hospitality is second to none, and they made us feel right at home.

The ride itself was a grand adventure, with breathtaking views of the herd amidst stunning landscapes – it truly felt like being in a movie.

The horses were in excellent condition and perfectly trained. They are true all-rounders: from their skilled climbing in the mountains, their agility when driving the herd, to their impressive speed – they completely amazed me. I was especially impressed by how well the horses are cared for.

Another big plus was the freedom while riding. This wasn’t a rigid trail where you simply follow each other in line. Instead, you had the freedom to actively drive the herd and fully immerse yourself in the adventure. My personal highlights were the river crossings with the herd, the views high up in the mountains, and the evenings by the campfire, where we enjoyed delicious food and great wine.

A huge thank you to the entire team – I will never forget this trip, and who knows, maybe I’ll come back again!
